It’s not too often I listen to albums I’ve had for 3+ years–mainly because they remind me of my high school years, and those memories aren’t so sweet. I’m willing to make an exception for The Graduate, though.
I was at Warped Tour for the first and last time a few years ago when I walked by their tent. One of their band mates was yelling at people passing by to buy their CD because they had marked them down to $5 each (it was getting toward the end of the day). I had no idea who these dudes were, but I was curious, so I stopped for a second and asked one of the other guys at the tent, “Wow. Is that embarrassing at all?”
“No…he’s just so good at it that it’s hard to be.”
We exchanged a few more words before I surrendered $5 and bought a CD. I even got it signed by a couple of the band members. Score!
