Sorry for the lack of substantial content around here lately. Part of it is that I’ve been busy and the other part is that I’m lame and have had little to write about. A few updates from the past few days:
- I’m in talks with some people about revitalizing Tet (the Vietnamese New Years festival) here in Charlotte with a pretty big theatre production of sorts. I’m hoping everything pans out okay with this.
- I shot prom photos for a few friends and I had A LOT of fun doing it. I’ve already posted a couple of photos of them to my Flickr account. Also learned a lot about where my strengths lie as a photographer.
- Watched Deadliest Warrior for the first time today. It’s fun stuff. I know I shouldn’t enjoy watching the Taliban and IRA square off with each other, but I do anyway.
- Pastor Steven delivered a really awesome message at Elevation today. I’m really glad I got to be there for it. Check it out on the Elevation Church website tomorrow afternoon-ish if you get a chance.

Aww! I LOVE those Prom photos. The quality and poses of the shots is wonderful. You really did do a great job. Anywho, moving on…
Revitalizing Tet, huh? Would that mean moving it back to Asian Corner? Or maybe a new place?
Thanks for the props on the prom photos. I'm really pleased with how they turned out as well.
As far as Tet goes, we're not gonna be in charge of the event. We just want to contribute something worth seeing to it to get people's interest back since it's been so dead these last few years.
Well yeah. You should be pleased. You must have a nice camera, si? *wonders*.
Yeah…it is kind of lacking in that department huh? I've only been the last 2 years, I can't say it's been ALL that worth going (especially for me <.<), but I could honestly say I'd more inclined if there was something new…perhaps something you help put together?
