I spent a rather intense three days in Durham. At Advance09, it was one awesome message after another. I almost decided to skip church today because I was feeling a bit of brain fatigue from absorbing so much information.
For those of you who wanted to go to Advance09 but couldn’t make it, Desiring God has posted audio from the conference on their site, meaning you get to hear this stuff for free. Take advantage of it. They haven’t posted ALL of the content from the conference yet, but I’m sure it’ll all be up there in the next few days. I know there’s a lot of stuff up there and you might not have time to listen to them all, so allow me to recommend John Piper’s lectures, titled Let the Nations be Glad. Part one is already up. Look for part two to be posted soon, hopefully.
I wanna give a shout out to Kassey over in Chapel Hill for being awesome and letting me crash at her apartment while I was in town. She’s one of few people I have any significant amount of history with and it was really good to see her again.
Audio clip of one of my favorite bits from the conference below. It’s from Matt Chandler’s lecture, titled Preaching the Gospel to the De-churched. It’s worth the 2:41 minutes of your time.

Looking forward to your coming posts
I really like that excerpt from Matt Chandler. Love it! "What's our response? "mmhmm?" " Brilliant!
