I started my themed sketchbook of dancing last year at Free Comic Book Day, and the whole idea was for it to be fun.  Sometimes, though, I think I’m the only person who things my sketchbook ideas are funny.

Some sketches I hope to get in the next couple of years:

• Belly-dancer Deadpool
• Nightcrawler doing the worm
• Robin doing the funky chicken dance (with a cockscomb and tail feathers)
• The Fantastic Four doing the YMCA (it’ll either be a jam piece or I’ll have one character on each page)

If any of these are totally lame, tell me so that I can save myself some embarrassment come Heroes Con.

Some music artists record albums because they want to make it big. Others do it because they have something beautiful to express and music is the only way they know how to do it.

That’s why, more often than not, you’ll find me rooting for the “little guys.”

This gem greeted me in the mail today.  It’s awesome for a few reasons:

• It’s by THE Chris Haley of LBFA fame (he’s also responsible for this Aquaman/Thriller sketch)
• The Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War books were my first foray into “western” comics
• Guy Gardner is my favorite Green Lantern <3
